hey, i'm janelle! i'm a 4th-year software engineering student @ McGill and a Schulich Leader Scholar. i love exploring creative tech and finding intersections between engineering and the world around us!

i'm also co-chairing CUSEC, Canada's longest-running student tech conference, to bring together students across Canada in early january so they can find their community in tech.

outside of software, I love biking, cafe-hopping around montreal, and hosting fun events that bring friends and strangers together.
i believe running little experiments is the best way to keep learning about yourself, so i've made a pact with a friend to keep experimenting with something new every week - maybe an activity, a hobby, or even just a new recipe. :)
